Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario. My research is focused on data management and databases, and more specifically, helping database users access data, understand and clean it.

Before joining Western, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of British Columbia where I worked with Dr. Rachel Pottinegr. I was also a postdoc at McMaster University and worked with Dr. Fei Chiang. I received my Ph.D. from Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Leopoldo Bertossi.

• Fairness and bias mitigation in data preprocessing
