History

Dr. Hart was the first head of the Department of Computer Science, serving from 1964 to 1978. He retired in 1978.

Dr. Elcock served as Department Chair from 1973 to 1983. He retired in 1990.

Dr. Gargantini served as Department Chair from 1986 to 1991. She retired in 2000.

Dr. Bauer served as Department Chair from 1991 to 1996 and again from 2002 to 2007. He retired in 2022.

Dr. Lutfiyya served as Department Chair from 2011 to 2016, and 2017-2020.
