Bell 5G Research Partnership

The Department of Computer Science is pleased to  announce that Western is partnering with Bell on a 5G research initiative.   

The leadership of Anwar Haque was key in helping make this happen

 

The initiative will see the creation of an advanced 5G research centre. Western will become a “living lab” for shaping smart cities and communication systems. Bell is providing 2.7 million dollars.  Research and development initiatives will be funded.
