Mia is the newest addition to the Flatley Family and a rescue from the Dominican Republic. She was found in a shoebox on the side of the road with 4 other female puppies. This happens because male dogs are in more demand and females are too expensive to care for so they are often left behind.          Mia’s breed is unknown, but there is evidence of Shepherd and Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is estimated to currently be 8 months old, meaning a date of birth could be August, 2016.

Traits

Some noticeable traits about Mia’s personality are:

Playfullness	As the same for all puppies, they love to play. Mia can find enjoyment and an ability to keep herself busy with just about any object or toy. She enjoys the outdoors and takes great pleasure in exploring.
Hyperactivity	Mia, although still a puppy, shows no decline in levels of energy. She can stop on a dime from full sprint, is very edgy with her walking and pouncing and can play throughout, or any time of the day. This sounds more negative than positive, but I can assure you that it is not.
Compassion	Mia shows intense signs of compassion. She can detect an individual’s sadness and proceeds to go and comfort the person. She enjoys close contact, as she acts similar to a “lap dog”.
